Most likely issues and troubleshooting steps are listed below:
-
Can't enter bootloader -> If you are not seeing the 'Hold to Update' screen when
attempting to enter bootloader, try flipping one end of the USB C cable and repeating the
process. If that doesn't work, try using a USB C to USB A cable with the necessary adapters.
-
Battery not found -> Verify your browser has permission to access the battery serial
port. If you are on Linux and have installed your browser via snap, your browser may not
have the necessary permissions so try installing it directly from the website.
-
Timeout during update -> Check the battery is connected properly, all other batteries
are disconnected and the battery is in bootloader mode. To enter the bootloader, power off
the battery by holding the power button for 5 seconds and connect a USB C cable. Hold the
power button and wait for the 'Hold to Update' message to clear. The screen will read
'Bootloader v1.0.6' if you have correctly entered the bootloader.
-
Firmware fetch failure -> Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Try
switching to a wired internet connection if available.
